Aisling Neville runs a spring-calving 150-cow dairy herd in Co Westmeath that she started at just 22 years old.
Aisling grew up on a dairy farm in Co Offaly and says it was here where she developed her love and interest in cows and their breeding.
“I absolutely love cows, I love everything to do with them, especially breeding them. I have a big interest in family lines and I suppose I got that from my father, as he has a big interest in it too,” Aisling says.
Along with her boyfriend Shane, Aisling has a 10-year lease on the farm aimed at making the highest quality milk. “It all begins and ends with the quality of the milk produced on your farm. Quality milk is the cornerstone of quality dairy products.”
