Member Relations

Member Relations personnel carry out a large number of functions on behalf of all Lakeland Dairies milk suppliers.  Member Relations are part of the Farm Services contact centre in Bailieboro and any of our personnel can be contacted there at 1890 474720.

The general functions of Member Relations are listed below:

• Operate annual Restructuring Scheme
• Assist in obtaining milk quota loans
• Operate Temporary Leasing Schemes
• Carry out 92:46 Dairy Hygiene Inspections
• Ensure Animal Health Certificates submitted
• Advice on Partnerships/Family Transfers
• Facilitate milk suppliers in the maintenance of a quality milk supply

• Superlevy monitoring and advice

Governance Functions

• Organise Regional Committee meetings on a quarterly basis
• Organise sub area elections for Regional Committees
• Organise Board elections annually

Lobbying Functions

• Ring fencing
• Nitrates Directive
• Animal Medicines Regulations

Other Functions

• Produce monthly farm notes
• Organise Annual  Milk Quality Awards
